'Patsy is blonde,
Patsy is pretty.
Patsy has "insatiable"
Tattooed on one titty.
Undoubtedly, she is indeed
A truly rampant lover,
And, really, I'm in heaven
When I'm doing things above her.
I was her dream guy long ago,
Her Mister Wrong, her Mr Right,
Her dark, ignoble savage,
Alone in her bed at night.
But she was only seventeen then,
Many dreams ago.
I told her, 'you'll grow out of me.'
She didn't want to know.
But other men, other places,
Other handsome, knightly faces,
Make their case with practiced art
And take my place in Patsy's heart.
Still she listens...'
The Tramp's Soliloquy is a partial record of songs and poems I've written over the years. Hope you find something here worthy of your attention.
