I Am A Barbarian was written in 1989 and recorded in 2019.

But I may not be quite the man
You now believe you comprehend.
For there more to me than a casual scan
Would ever suggest to the innocent.

I used to be a trusting soul.
I believed what I was told.
Cheats never prosper nice guys do.
Work hard, be good and tell the truth.

Suffer in silence, say your prayers,
Don't envy the powerful what is theirs

And be best friends with Jesus Christ!
